Looking for pricing? I work on a time and materials basis, so I don't offer quotes in the traditional sense. Services are billed at an hourly rate and materials may be customer supplied or supplied at my discounted contractor cost + 15%.
I run on a waitlist format and usually wait times vary with the seasons. A deposit is required to secure a spot on the list.
I often install + paint trim, leaving you with a finished product to enjoy. My paint suggestion for trim is Benjamin Moore Aura in Satin finish. This paint dries to a tough and durable finish and will stand up well to the vacuum cleaner, kiddie toys and...life! I've used it in my own home and been very impressed with the long-lasting durability.
There are a few common trim styles I most often install: contemporary, colonial, step and modern or farmhouse style. You'll see these in the galleries below. I essentially always work with MDF (medium density fibreboard) instead of wood, for several reasons: its pine alternative bleeds knots through paint despite many of my best efforts; MDF is easier to work with; and MDF is more economical to purchase. Poplar is another solid wood option, although it is more expensive and sometimes the profiles do not line up consistently. Some profiles are only available in a specific material. We can talk about which material and what size/scale would best suit your needs.
Updating your trim elevates your home. Whether your style is classic or modern, beautiful trim is like a cherry on top and a wonderful way to add value to your property. Neat and tidy trim work is such a beautiful refresher.
